Suffix

(combining form used with a noun representing a particular group or type of people)

1. used to form uncountable nouns denoting gratuitous physical or verbal attacks on a group or type of people

   The police arrested him for Muslim-bashing

2. used to form adjectives meaning consisting of or relating to what is denoted by the equivalent noun.

   Be careful -- there have been some Paki-bashing attacks around here
