94 Aurora
94 Aurora (aw-ror'-a) is one of the largest main belt asteroids. It is very dark, darker than soot, and has a primitive compostion consisting of carbonates. It was discovered by J. C. Watson on September 6, 1867 and named after Aurora, the Roman goddess of the dawn. Aurora occulted a dim star on October 12, 2001. A somewhat oval shape was detected. [1]
