AFN Iraq

AFN Iraq is the American Forces Network of radio stations within Iraq. The network, nicknamed Freedom Radio, broadcasts news, information, and entertainment programs, including adult contemporary music. Its mission is to "sustain and improve the morale and readiness" of U.S. forces in Iraq.

The network includes the following stations:

• Baghdad 1Kw on 92.3 and 107.7 FM
• Mosul, 1Kw on 105.1 FM
• Tikrit, 1Kw on 93.3 FM
• Balad (LSA Anaconda) 250w on 107.3 FM
• Qayarrah West Airfield (Q-West), 250w on 93.3 FM
• Sinjar , 250w on 107.9 FM
• Kirkuk, 200w on 100.1 and 107.3 FM
• Tallil , 200w on 100.1 and 107.3 FM
