Akhand Bharat (literally undivided Indian nation) is considered by some Hindus to be the historic homeland of the Hindus, back before Islamic invasions and colonial partition, which subsequently resulted into religious conversion of large number of masses into Islam and Christianity. It includes all of present day Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Nepal, Myanmar, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. This is largerly based o the concept of 'cultural nationalism' rather than 'political state'.
