Alexander Romankov

Known by many as Sasha, Alexander is a fencing legend, considered by many to be the greatest foil fencer of the century. He has won numerous Olympic medals, including a Gold medal in the 1988 Olympics. He has the distinction of being the only fencer to win both the Individual and Team World Championships five times. He is also a three-time winner of the prestigious World Cup. In addition to his incredible accomplishments as a fencer, he has coached the National teams of Australia, Belarus, and Korea. He was featured in the 2004 Guiness Book of World Records.
