All Rites Reversed (or All Rights Reversed) is a term from the Principia Discordia that is used generally in Discordianism and similar subcultures. It is a parody of All rights reserved and indicates a lack of copyright status. It is often accompanied by a circled K (for Kallisti) and is occasionally stated as "All Rites Reversed - Reprint what you like".
It is also sometimes known as Kopyleft, which may or may not be the same as Copyleft.
Unlike public domain status, All Rights Reversed has no formal legal meaning. Greg Hill, author of the Principia Discordia, has said that he knew he had used small amounts of copyrighted material in the Principia and wanted to make it clear that he wasn't attempting to claim copyright on those items for himself.
