Attila József

Attila József (April 11, 1905 - December 3, 1937) was one of the most outstanding Hungarian poets in the 20th century. He lived and died in poverty. He was member of the then illegal Communist party, but left it. He often fell in love with his psychologists. He died in a rather strange railway accident, which some consider to be suicide.
