Azeroth (kingdom)

In the computer game series Warcraft, Azeroth is a mostly-peaceful human kingdom that is invaded by the Orcs, savage beings from another planet of existence. Although players could play the role of a human general and defeat the orcs, according to the story continuity established in Warcraft II and Warcraft III, Azeroth is unable to fend off the Orcish Hordes and is conquered. Refugees flee to the neighboring Kingdom of Lordaeron, the setting of Warcraft II, and portions of Warcraft III.
