Des O'Connor

Des (Bernard) O'Connor is a British singer and entertainer, born January 12th, 1932 in London. He toured with Buddy Holly and Lonnie Donegan in the 1950s. He has appeared on numerous television programmes from the 1950s right through to the 2000s, and was the butt of many affectionate gibes by Morecambe and Wise concerning his singing talent - or lack of it - which he always took in good part.

O'Connor's fiancée, Jodie Brooke Wilson (35), gave birth to their first child, Adam Harrison Campbell, in September 2004.
