Eddy Duchin

Edwin Duchin
Edwin Frank "Eddy" Duchin (April 1, 1909 - February 9, 1951) was a pianist. Duchin was not trained musically, something which frustrated many people he worked with. His trademark style was to cross his hands and play with only one finger in the lower hand.

A movie, The Eddy Duchin Story (1956), was a documentary about his life. Eddie Duchin also served in the Navy during World War II.
