Electrical work

Electrical Work is the work done on a particle by an and electric field on a particle. This energy is similar to Mechanical Work in that the equation for electrical work is of the same form:

$W = q \int_{i}^{f} E \cdot \, dr$

where

q is the charge of the particle

E is the strength of the electric field

r is the distance
