Introduction

The Finn dinghy is a single-handed Olympic class of sailing dinghy.

Designed by Rickard Sarby (Sweden) in 1949. As at 2005, the Finn has been an Olympic class continuously since the 1952 Summer Olympics.

Basic parameters:

  • Width: 1,51 m
  • Sail area: 10 m2
  • Hull weigth: 105 kg (before ~1990 - 145 kg)
