Fort Albany, Ontario

Fort Albany is a community in northern Ontario situated on James Bay at the mouth of the Albany River.

It was originally established in 1679 as a fur trading post by the Hudson's Bay Company. Part of the original settlement is now the First Nations settlement of Kashechewan.
