Gender feminism

Gender feminism is a phrase coined by Christina Hoff Sommers in her book Who Stole Feminism (Simon & Schuster, 1994) to describe the mainstream of the contemporary feminist movement, which she felt was unduly gynocentric. She contrasted this term with "equity feminism."
