Granius LicinianusGranius Licinianus was a Roman annalist, believed to have lived in the age of the Antonines (2nd century AD). He was the author of a brief summary of Roman history based on the work of Livy, which he utilized as a means of displaying his antiquarian learning. Accounts of omens, portents, prodigies and other remarkable events apparently took up a considerable portion of the work. Some fragments of the books relating to the years 163-178 BC are preserved in a British Museum manuscript. Editions
