Grindelwald

Grindelwald () is a village in the Bernese Oberland region of Switzerland. Long famed as a tourist destination, it is the usual starting point for ascents of the Eiger and the Wetterhorn, and it is a popular winter sports resort.

A train from Grindelwald goes up to Kleine Scheidegg and connects to the Jungfraubahn that ascends inside the mountain.
