Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team

The anime series, Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team, is a twelve-episode Gundam OVA series that takes place during the One-Year War, and depicts the point of view of the common soldier rather than that of the Newtype aces.

The 08th MS Team was the longest-running Gundam OVA series, in terms of episode release schedule. Its final episode was released a full three and a half years after the series began, largely due to the death of director Takeyuki Kanda in July of 1996.

The 08th MS Team also had a compilation movie released called Miller's Report, which combined the first 8 episodes of the series with new animation involving the court martial of the lead character, Shiro Amada, and a new character, intelligence officer Alice Miller.
