Impresario

An impresario is a manager or producer in one of the entertainment industries, usually music or theatre. "Impresario" also refers to the director of an opera company.

Figuratively, it refers to anyone who flamboyantly takes a leading role in organizing or orchestrating something intended to entertain an audience. (e.g., music festivals, business conferences, web sites)
