Irish Chamber OrchestraThe Irish Chamber Orchestra, or ICO, is a small string orchestra based in the University of Limerick. The ICO has toured worldwide, including a recent visit to Carnegie Hall in New York and a tour through China. The current Music Director is Nicholas McGegan, and the Principal Guest Director is Mariana Sirbu. As a business, the Orchestra is led by Chief Executive John Kelly, who occasionally plays the viola in ICO concerts.
