Janet Dean

Janet Elizabeth Ann Dean (born 28 January, 1949) has been a British member of Parliament for the constituency of Burton since 1997. She is a member of the Labour Party.

She is a member of the Catering Select Committee and Home Affairs Select Committee. She is the chairperson of the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Lupus; an issue close to her heart, as both her mother and husband died from it. She is also Vice-Chair of the Back Care Group.
