Joel Meyerowitz (born 1938, New York City) is a photographer. He is a landscape photography revivalist, influenced in part by William Eggleston, and author of the seminal book on Cape Cod, Cape Light. Meyerowitz uses a 10 x 8 large format camera to produce luminous prints of landscapes and people.
He is also known for creating a photographic archive of the September 11, 2001 attack on the World Trade Center.
Meyerowitz is a Guggenheim Fellow.
