Joseph Babinski(Redirected from Joseph Jules François Félix Babinski)
Joseph Jules François Félix Babinski (Józef Franciszek Feliks Babiński) (November 17, 1857–October 29, 1932) was a Polish-French neurologist. He is best known for his 1903 description of the Babinski sign, a pathological plantar reflex indicative of corticospinal tract damage. Babiński was the son of a polish engineer and his wife who in 1848 flew Warsaw for Paris because of a Russian reign of terror with the purpose of stalling Polish attempts at achieving independence.
