Level 9

Level_9 was a British computer adventure game company who produced some of the most advanced games of the 1980s. Founded in 1981 by Pete, Mike, and Nick Austin , the company produced about 20 games for BBC_Micro, Nascom, ZX Spectrum, Commodore_64, Oric , Atari, Lynx 48k , RML_380Z , Amstrad, MSX and Enterprise until the declining market forced their closure in 1991.
