Megan Follows

Megan Follows (born March 14, 1968) is a Canadian actress best known for her role as Anne Shirley in the 1985 television series Anne of Green Gables and its two sequels.

Born in Toronto, Ontario, to actors Ted Follows and Dawn Greenhalgh , she moved to Los Angeles after he parents divorced.

In 1991, Follows married actor Christopher Porter . They divorced in 1995. They had two children: Lyla Ann and Russel.

Follows championed A Fine Balance by Rohinton Mistry in the 2002 edition of Canada Reads.
