Michael Davis (philosopher)
Michael Davis is a philosopher of law and ethics, author, and Professor of Philosophy, currently at the Illinois Institute of Technology. He is perhaps best known for his position in the theory of criminal justice, which can be seen as a form of retributive justice. Michael Davis is the author of To Make the Punishment Fit the Crime (1992), a collection of his essays on the subject of criminal justice. He has also written books on professional ethics, specifically with regards to engineering. Bibliography
