Mixing chiropractic

In chiropractic medicine a mixer is a practitioner who uses additional techniques beyond the manipulation of the spine with the hands. Methods used might include ultrasound, TENS and weight equipment.

There is controversy within the field between mixers and straight chiropractors, and between more or less liberal mixers.
