Quintic function(Redirected from Quintic)
Quintic functions are polynomial functions in which the highest degree is five. Because they have an odd degree, normal quintic functions appear similar to normal cubic functions when graphed, except for the fact that they may possess an additional local maximum and minimum each. The derivative of a quintic function is a quartic function. Finding Roots: See Quintic equation. The contents of this article are licensed from Wikipedia.org under the GNU Free Documentation License.
