Tandem is also a language acquisition method. In this way, Tandem means working together, exchanging skills and experience to help each other go forward faster - and with more fun! You meet a local person learning your language. You and your partner speak alternately in the foreign language and your language and together you not only improve your knowledge of the language but you also get to know many other aspects of both cultures and ways of life.
