Ulf Andersson

Ulf Andersson (born June 271951 - ) is a leading Swedish chess grandmaster. At his peak, he reached number four on the FIDE Elo rating list. In recent years, he has turned more towards correspondence chess and in 2002 he reached the top of the correspondence chess rating list. He is renowned as a great player of endgames, especially rook endgames. He is also known for drawing a higher percentage of his games than most grandmasters.
