Ullensaker

Ullensaker is a municipalityin the county of Akershus, Norway. Neighbouring municipalities are Eidsvoll to the north, Nes to the east, Sørum to the south, Gjerdrum and Nannestad to the west.

The municipality includes the town of Jessheim and the village of Kløfta , but is mostly rural, with farming and horsebreeding as important trades. It is located in the vicinity of, but not neighbouring, Oslo, and is the location of Oslo Airport Gardermoen.

There first traces of population in the area are 6000 years old .
