Ulus

An ulus (Russian: улу́с) is the subdivision type of Sakha (Yakutia) Republic of the Russian Federation.

A typical federal subject of Russia is subdivided into districts (raions). Ulus is an ethnic name for a district, used only in Sakha Republic.
