Verdun (candidate)

In the 14 October 1935 federal Canadian election, Hervé Ferland, who listed his profession as ‘merchant’, unsuccessfully sought election in Verdun riding in Quebec as the Verdun candidate. He won 4,124 votes, 16.8% of the popular vote, placing third in a field of 11 candidates, behind the Conservative Party of Canada and Co-operative Commonwealth Federation candidates.
