Victor A. Vyssotsky (born ) son of Alexander N. Vyssotsky and Emma T. R. Williams is a mathematician and computer scientist. He is one of the team member of Multics project.
Multics, whilst not particularly commercially successful in itself,
directly inspired Ken Thompson to develop Unix.
Early 1960s along with Robert Morris Sr. and Doug McIlroy he
devised and played a computer game called Darwin
(later know as Core War) on a IBM 7090 at Bell Labs.
Later virus developers used same technique to develop some viruses.
