Volkswagen Squareback

The Squareback is a station wagon built by Volkswagen in the late 1960's and 1970's, also known as the type 4. Not a resounding sales success, it used a flat-4 aircooled engine mounted in the rear, like the corporate sibling VW Beetle. There was also a fastback variant of the type 4 built using the same running gear as the Squareback.
