Voltage source

A Constant-Voltage Source or Voltage Source is an ideal electronic component which supplies a fixed potential difference across its terminals which is independent of current through the device. The internal impedance of a Voltage Source is zero. When connected to a short circuit, a Voltage Source supplies infinite current and infinite power, and when connected to an open circuit, it supplies zero current and zero power. A Voltage Source is the dual(electronics) of a current source.
