William Walker (diver)William Walker (died 1918) was a diver. Working in water up to a depth of 6 m, during the period 1906-1912, he shored up the southern and eastern sides of Winchester Cathedral with over 25000 bags of concrete, 115000 concrete blocks and 900000 bricks. He was awarded the MVO. William Walker died during the influenza epidemic of 1918.
